Review fire-drill

Quotes below are on the public product page as of 16 Aug 2026. Amazon’s default sort is Top reviews, not strictly newest; dates are as printed. Flagged if 1-star or if the copy hits broke / leak / smell / scam (here: cracked).

Brent K. · 5 stars · 3 Jan 2026 · Canada · Verified Purchase · Color: Hyperion Ben Johns | 16mm

“Paddle has been fantastic for the last few months. Great power and control. If you see it on sale, it’s a great alternative to the price of the Joola series 4 paddles”

Rebecca Hancock · 5 stars · 14 Nov 2025 · United States · Verified Purchase · Color: Hyperion Ben Johns | 16mm

“My husband was so happy with this paddle. He plays five days a week and needs the control and speed of this great paddle. He keeps raving about the great grip. I think his game has improved because of this!!”

Keyword · cracked Review snippet on the same page (Customers say → Durability: mixed). No date shown on this snippet.

“Amazing paddle. But after using for a couple months the face cracked on me.”

Also on the page, not a 1-star: SNC (5 stars, 17 Jul 2025) — “The paddle do not come with a cover or cover is missing with this paddle.” Amazon’s own Customers-say blurb: “Durability is mixed, with some customers reporting that the face cracked after a couple of months of use.”

What we would have pinged you about

• Face cracked. That is a broke-class keyword on a $156 carbon paddle. On a live install this would have hit email/Slack the hour it posted, with ASIN, star, and the quote — not in a weekly wrap.
• Cover missing / packaging. Repeated on the page (SNC; also a 1-star from Australia, 17 Mar 2024: paddle “did NOT come with a protective cover”). If this were your listing, we would draft a seller reply and check FBA prep / “what’s in the box.”
• Title length vs. the 10 Aug change. The live title is far over 75 characters. Amazon’s News_Amazon post says Item Highlights began displaying under the item name on desktop and mobile effective 10 Aug 2026. A 3P on this family would need the 75 / 125 split checked before AI rewrites the title.
• Variation Wizard dies this month. This ASIN is a color/shape family (Hyperion 16mm, Perseus 16mm, Perseus 14mm). News_Amazon: Variation Wizard retires end of August 2026; add variants from Add Products via pre-filled spreadsheet.

Public seller news (August 2026)

• Answers to your product title update questions — News_Amazon. Item Highlights display beneath the item name on desktop and mobile effective 10 Aug 2026. Titles: 75 characters; Highlights: 125.
• Add to existing variation families from the Add Products page — News_Amazon. “This workflow replaces the Variation Wizard, which will be retiring by the end of August 2026.”
